uma forma quase cilíndrica

+ info ventosetempestades.pt

uma forma quase cilíndrica materializes gestures and almost invisible states that the body carries in an attempt to preserve life. Walk. Collect. Transport. Manage. Use. Solve. Live. The creative process parts of the image of a woman carrying water. The body itself appears in the performance as a carrier of water and states. In this working body is recognized the effort to obtain the essential, in a daily activity that, culturally, is often aimed at women and is repeated by her throughout life, for the benefit of the community. Thus, water is the central and conducting material of history, together with the objects necessary to collect, store and use it. Direction and interpretation by Teresa Santos, direction assistance, sound design, light and scenography by Dídac Gilabert, production by Companhia Ao Vento / Ventos e Tempestades.
